Camp out for Kids was founded by Marc Lifshin. In 2008. As former campers, Marc, Barry, and Brian understood the magic of summer camp and how it could make a difference in children’s lives. They also knew that the cost of summer camp was a limitation for many families. That first year, with the generous support of many volunteers, family, friends, and corporate sponsors, Camp Out for Kids raised enough money to send 22. Chicagoland children and youth to a summer camp of their choice.

In order to be considered for Camp Out for Kids the following must be provided. 1 Camp Out for Kids Application and Hold Harmless. An applicant MUST have a sponsor in order to be eligible for Camp Out for Kids assistance. A sponsor should be a person who knows the child, such as a teacher, caseworker, coach or counselor and cannot be a friend, parent, or other relative. 3 Application from the selected camp. 4 Letter, video, or drawing. Before I begin with my thoughts and emotions from this summer I wanted to tell you a story about someone who has been immensely impactful to the person that I have become.

CAMPOUT FEST is a one night mini-fest of great music and people from the North East of the USofA being held at Camp Stanica in Palmer, MA. There will be games, late night outdoor movies, swimming, camping, and of course tons of great MUSIC. Campers will have to bring their own food and camping gear. This is going to be AMAZINGLY FUN so come along, bring what you need to to have a good time, be smart about it, and plan to respect the camp so that we can do this again and again and again and again.
