Memories of Camp Tegawitha
Monday, August 17, 2009. I was a counselor at Camp Tegawitha. When I was 22 yrs old. I have some memories of that place.most were good ones. Here are some I have:. Eating: As a counselor you didn't have this privilege. Your main goal was to make sure all the campers ate (since they were the one's paying the big bucks to go there) and the counselors ate only on nights off when they could go and pig out at the closest pizza shop. By the time you waited on all the kids at your table, chow time was over!
Tegawitha Memories
August 1, 2013. Tega Alumnae Kathie and Debbie Dillon write:. We would love to contribute Miss Fleming's favorite song of tribute. As best we remember). We brought it back at Indian Campfire, Marigold 1969. The Lamp of Tegawitha. Oh, Miss Fleming, we proudly pledge to thee. Strong faith and trust, eternal loyalty. To we your lasting light will 'ere remain. True to your love, your ideals, and your name. One for Tegawitha, we hail your truths so dear. With banners blue and white, we sing your praises clear.
