Italian ground pork sausage. 1 onion, finely chopped. 1 clove garlic, minced. 3 14-oz. cans chicken broth. 1/2 c white wine or chicken broth. 28-oz can crushed tomatoes in tomato purée. 2 zucchini, quartered lengthwise and sliced. 2 carrots, peeled and diced. 3 stalks celery, diced. 1 green pepper, diced. 1 t dried basil. 1/2 t dried oregano. 1/2 c orzo pasta, uncooked (I used small shells/ orchetti). We went to the Mountain State Fair this year. This was Elizabeth's first trip to the fair. Her first taste of Cotton Candy and her first roller coaster rides. She loved it. Wednesday, March 10, 2010. This has been a record year for the mountains (of course the year we move). Here are some more shots of us in the snow from last week. We had about 9 inches of the fluffiest softest snow! So Beautiful. It was a great snow day for us. We rarely have a day with daddy home so it was a great excuse for him to hang out and have fun. Even our fearless cat braved the snow! This was an early shot in the day since after it got real deep she couldn't walk very well. The Life of the Isleys.

She turned 2 a couple weeks ago. I can't believe she is already 2 (guess I will say something like that every birthday). We had a fun party for her at the church with her friends and family. Friday, June 11, 2010. We finally took Elizabeth on her first camping trip. We went to Pisgah up past the Fish Hatchery near Daniel Ridge. It was a lot of fun. John got a new tent with some of his graduation money so we could all fit comfortably. Elizabeth loved throwing rocks in the river and jumping on the air mattress the best. John and Elizabeth making silly faces in the tent! Elizabeth and Mommy roasting Hotdogs! Elizabeth helping Daddy start the campfire! Bedtime stories in the tent.
