We were all a little sleepy on the bus ride from the plane but we soon perked up as the village was in view and we passed by the Olympic Plaza. We have only been here 3 days and the Village is starting to get busier by the hour. After all our hard work and sacrifice, as a team and a program, we are very proud to represent our nation in London. Tomorrow we play Croatia in the quarterfinals and if we win…we’re in! Then we had a little break and went back to practice on the training court later today. Tuesday, November 9, 2010. We lost our game last weekend, we were down two at half and then got blown out. I was so tired. I couldn't run up and down the court by the end of the game. I am blaming it on hard practices, no subs and waking up at 630am on a game day to fly to Madrid. I am hoping so because I have made it a daily habit to steal at least two. Sunday, February 21, 2010. A few pics of Olympics in Vancouver and at the Smith household. Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Ben skied almost most days and was pretty sore at the end of night! I got up to ski and had a blast, I can't wait to get back into skiing I wanted to buy all sorts of gear when I was up there! The biggest news of the trip was that Ben proposed! There were a lot of phone calls made the next day! We are both pretty excited to take in some of the Olympics so we will keep you posted!

Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Worst road trip ever. Last weekend was a rough one! That is where my teammates and I spent a solid 5 hours. Dinner that evening was around 1130pm and featured multiple boccadillos from the airport. We finally got our bags and headed to a hotel in Madrid to spend the night. Sunday, November 14, 2010. We lost another game last night. Our team played really terrible defense which is something we are normally pretty good at. The loss stings even more because it came after our first "light" week of practices. The past few weeks we have ran and ran and by the time the game rolled around on Saturday my legs were gone.
