Canadian Bakin': Bran

http://canadianbakin.blogspot.com/2007/05/bran.html

A simple blog about simple baking from a simple Canadian. Thursday, May 10, 2007. Today I spontaneously decided to make bran muffins. Now, I know muffins can be a little difficult to make without eggs but I didn't realize it would take me 15 minutes to find a reasonable sounding vegan bran muffin recipe. There were many that simply omitted the eggs and substituted nothing - I decided not to trust those ones. In the end I settled on this. 1 cup all-bran cereal. 1 cup water, warm. 3/4 cup brown sugar.

Canadian Bakin': Bagel Bakin'

http://canadianbakin.blogspot.com/2007/05/to-celebrate-inaugural-post-of-canadian.html

A simple blog about simple baking from a simple Canadian. Tuesday, May 8, 2007. To celebrate the inaugural post of Canadian Bakin' I felt I should talk something I care about deeply. Something satisfying and fulfilling.something yummy. That's why I decided to bake some bagels. This is the second time I've baked bagels. The first ones turned out O.K. but they were small and without holes in the centre. This time I was determined to remedy this. Recipe as a guideline:. Title: Whole Wheat Bagels. Roll each ...

Monday, December 04, 2006. Not so Rational Rose. Apparently Rational Rose changes their file formats between minor versions. Because of this I just had to re-do a large amount of work. This whole program is a piece of crap. Their UI is terrible, inconsistent, and feels like it was built for Windows 3.1. For example, how do you delete something from a model? The 'delete' key you say? Did you make a change you didn't like? Would you like to undo it? Delete the object and then add it again.

Thursday, November 30, 2006. Today I set out to install the latest version of Ubuntu. Edgy Eft (6.10). I've been an Ubuntu user since Warty Warthog (4.10) and a long time Debian user before that. For the record, here is a summary of the hardware I was installing on:. Intel Pentium M 1.5GHz CPU. Intel Pro Wireless 2200 a/b/g. Time is another bi...

http://bhearsum.blogspot.com/2007/05/canadian-bakin.html

Tuesday, May 08, 2007. I thought some people might be interested in my new blog. I've started doing a lot of baking lately, mostly breads and bagels to start with. You can read about it on Canadian Bakin'. Not as nice as yours, but I also have a vegan food blog (that is woefully neglected). Haha That reminds me, it's been nearly 2 weeks since I've posted.whoops. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Monday, November 20, 2006. Off and on for the past year I've been thinking off and on about getting a degree. Dave tells me that I should be in the BSD program and I know a few other people that think I should be at a University working towards a Masters. These thoughts cross my mind almost daily. I flip-flop on the issue for a couple reasons. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Its Frozen - The Story of My Day. FSOSS 2006 - Now with more freedom!
