My review of the Canberra Cafe scene. Saturday, 9 October 2010. Federation Square - Cherry Seed Cupcakes. Not actually a cafe but it deserves a writeup. Open Thursday to Sunday 10am to 4pm and serving the best cupcakes in Canberra. Yes, a big bold statement but after tasting the really bad ones sold in Civic and the other bad ones at the Farmers Markets I say make the effort. D. Good Luck in finding it but wow! The saving grace for the cafe was the coffee made by the (coeliac) owner was actually good! As to the food, I bake for myself and coeliac friends so I know it is hard to bake GF as good as normal bakery items. But at least you can enjoy the coffee. Saturday, October 02, 2010.
