It's the beginning of being whole. There is still mass left behind. But no activity can be detected. I'm told that scar tissue can persist. My PET scan is NEGATIVE. October 28, 2011 at 7:30 AM. I expected a recommendation for radiation from a radiation oncologist. To be cynical, "if your tool is a hammer, everyone can start to look like nails."
