Na het afronden van mijn opleiding voor Technicus Bedrijfs Installaties (TBI) bij. Het toenmalige V.E.V, heb ik nooit gedacht in de EMC wereld terecht te komen. Bij toeval ben ik een leuke baan in hoogfrequente techniek tegen gekomen en ben toen professioneel met EMC en Radio keuringen in aanraking gekomen. Later kwam dit onder de vlag van de CE markering. Wat betekend EMC eigenlijk? EMC is de afkorting van Elektro Magnetische Compatibiliteit. Compatibiliteit betekend in dit geval verdraagzaamheid of ook wel verenigbaarheid. Als een product Compatibel is dan kunnen diverse elektrische en elektronische producten, zonder verlies van eigenschappen, naast elkaar functioneren. EMC fout in scootmobiel. Mr Bean maakte in de jaren negentig een lachwekkend voorbeeld wat er mis kon gaan met elektronica en zender te dicht in de beurt. Dit was slechts een grap.
