The (Christen) Miller's Tale: October 2011
http://millertale.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
The (Christen) Miller's Tale. The daily musings of a bookworm ballerina. Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Swan Lake (Act 2): Black Swan (the movie). I freaking love the Aronofsky movie Black Swan. And there's that - reality. What is reality? Can we lose our grip on it, as Nina does progressively throughout the film? Where is the border between creative imagination and the psychotic unraveling that took a hold of Nina and intensified with every passing scene in Black Swan? Siegfried and Odette spend the night...

The (Christen) Miller's Tale. The daily musings of a bookworm ballerina. Tuesday, December 13, 2011. It's been a while since I've written anything. So long, in fact, that Blogger decided to change their format on me. Oh well, I suppose that's what happens when you're busy. So I've written a lot about me in this blog, and I've written about each of my parents but I've never really written about my sister. So Boli, this one is for you. But now, as we have grown up and are adults now, my perspective has cha...

The (Christen) Miller's Tale: Actors I admire
http://millertale.blogspot.com/2011/09/actors-i-admire.html
The (Christen) Miller's Tale. The daily musings of a bookworm ballerina. Thursday, September 22, 2011. Hmmm Today is a thoughtful Thursday. And I have nothing about which to write. But, I DID find out today that they're making The Great Gatsby (one of my top 5 favorite books) into a movie to be released in 2012. I am stoked. AND, they cast Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby, which I think is a most fabulous choice. So, today's post: actors whom I really enjoy their work! Once a GAP and Versace model, he the...

The (Christen) Miller's Tale. The daily musings of a bookworm ballerina. Wednesday, May 2, 2012. The Wives of 2012. Flash forward to 2012. We now have the invention of the internet, of smart phones and social media. We have Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and Instagram. And we have rampant levels of depression and lack of self-worth in our young adults. Coincidence? Take my mom for example: she was all about Pinterest-type things before the inventors of Pinterest were even born. But, she was a stay-at-...

The (Christen) Miller's Tale: Southern Football vs. Northern Football

The (Christen) Miller's Tale. The daily musings of a bookworm ballerina. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Southern Football vs. Northern Football. I didn't write this, I just saw it and cracked up. It's pretty funny, especially the bourbon part (so true)! NORTH: Jeans and a football jersey. Sneakers. NORTH: Chap Stick in back pocket and a $20 bill in the front pocket. SOUTH: Louis Vuitton duffel with two lipsticks, waterproof mascara, and a fifth of bourbon. Money not necessary - that's what dates are for.

The (Christen) Miller's Tale. The daily musings of a bookworm ballerina. Monday, September 26, 2011. So I have been reading a bunch of blogs lately where the author themes certain days to promote more frequent writing. I've seen people have "Throwback Thursdays" and "Fun Fact Fridays." Well I am going to have a Memorable Monday. and here is entry number one! But we wanted to be bad. I think we might have been about fourteen or fifteen. None of us could drive alone yet. I was having a girls night ...All I...

http://millertale.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
The (Christen) Miller's Tale. The daily musings of a bookworm ballerina. Wednesday, September 28, 2011. I am a music geek. But somehow, I haven't been a concert geek until now. I always got super excited about the bands which I liked, but just never went to concerts. I don't know what my deal was. A while back, I made a list of bands I wanted to see in concert. Well, I've started to check them off my list! So, here is an updated list of acts I've seen and want to see:. Styx (coming Oct 16th! Quick aside,...

The (Christen) Miller's Tale: Picture This
http://millertale.blogspot.com/2011/10/picture-this.html
The (Christen) Miller's Tale. The daily musings of a bookworm ballerina. Friday, October 7, 2011. I think I would be an excellent photographer. Right now my only photo-capturing device that I own is my iPhone. And it does a crappy job at it. I think I would be a really spectacular amateur photog with the right equipment. I mean, I already have a Mac. I could process pics with the software I've already got installed. So all I really need is a camera, et voila! So what kind of camera should I start with?
