Thursday, May 07, 2009. I think I'll put down some mulch in my vegetable garden paths today. It's something I was hoping to do in less windy/less cold weather, but after 4 days of waiting for warmth, I think I better not wait any longer. I have some corn and pepper plants to bed too, again was waiting for the sun, but it seems like it'll never happen. Thursday, March 26, 2009. It's a good thing that spring break is here. The house has been suffering the past three months. I cleaned the gross stinky kitchen last night and guess what? There is a sink and a counter in there! I was even able to do a load of dishes this morning so the kitchen is still clean. more than 12 hours later! Hopefully it'll be a productive spring break. Thursday, March 12, 2009. I've been washing all our clothes by hand this week. Only about 4 loads. A new plunger a utility sink full of water and some laundry make for sore muscles, pruned fingers and chapped skin. But the laundry was completed and the repair man will be able to get to the machine that was once buried in clothing. Gotta go clean, that is, after my delicious tea clears my head. We also enjoy using our TV to access our favorite websites and games as well. Ainsley is playing on her Club Penguin account now. Friday, July 17, 2009. They've been causing me minor pain the last few months or so, but right now they are excruciatingly painful. I've been super busy keeping up with chores around the house, I seriously suspect that I may be allergic to housework! Friday, January 09, 2009. Homemade Tortillas are The Best. Our diet consists of either Thai Food or Mexican Food. In the past I'd buy a pack of 20 flour tortillas for the weeks worth of meals. It may seem like a lot, but with a family of 5, thats about two mexican style dinners. It has gotten to the point where I've been having to buy the 30 pack to also allow for lunch time sandwich wraps. I said, "I don't know, is that better? How much do you add? The whole house smelled of delicious fresh tortillas...

Thursday, March 19, 2009. It's the end of the quarter. Projects are piled up and due soon. I am still painting babies for my huge plastic painted baby mosaic, I'll be painting babies all weekend long (do you want to help? I'm not sure about fixing them to the mat board I have. Do I use hot glue like I did with the color study? Or, do I use a slow drying glue to give me a bit of wiggle room with placement? It's winding down. It's a good thing too, because my garden is a producing much more produce than we could possibly consume before spoiling.
