Tuesday, February 24. Who is this with Diane? No one in the family seems to recognize her. With Diane's help I straightened my hair at Christmas and looked more like Diane's sister rather than looking like her mother. However, I can't duplicate the results at my house, and my family is used to me with curls, so I'm sticking to what I've done the last 48 years. (Sounds like a looooong time, doesn't it? Posted by Lynnette and Bob. Happy Birthday to Ida, Lynnette and Jeanette! We're wishing Grandma Ida.

Wednesday, July 1. Redwoods-Avenue of the Giants. Hello from the Redwoods, what can we say, these trees are huge. We packed the little car, most likely overloaded it, but we couldn't leave anything behind. The drive north was slow and long, I think 4.5 hours. Once there it was like walking into a fantasy land, everything is soooo big. Lets see, what did we do? We also have spent the summer going to the beach and practicing our skate boarding. Tuesday, January 20. Todd Lake with Mt. Bachelor in the background. Doesn't this just make you want to cast a line? Ol Dan Adams and I had some great times fishing here on Todd Lake. And of course there are many memories for all of us up on Mt. Bachelor. The thick green pines and fir trees and cold, dark water remind me of home. You just don't find that here in AZ. There is some very similar terrain but nothing to match the rugged North West. Great job on your first posts Grandma Ida! Gary and Amy Funk.
