Back in the fall I was approached by a good friend of mine to see if I would be interested in making a donation to be auctioned off at a gala fundraising event in support of Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. Of course there was no question that the answer to that would be "Yes! But this wasn't just an ordinary donation, this was my primo package. All the soup and nuts! I've been dying to try this shot! Friday, April 17, 2009. This is my wonderful dear friend and neighbor Joanie and her dog of 11 years Taz. Joanie and Kim just found out that Taz is very sick. As you can see from the shaved areas on her leg and stomach, she just spent some time in the hospital. They asked me to come over and capture them as a family. It was my most moving and emotional photography experience. That makes me very sad. you can tell how much she loves him. April 19, 2009 at 6:18 PM. April 26, 2009 at 8:18 AM. That is so sad!

Tuesday, March 24, 2009. This is little Miss S. She just celebrated her first birthday! She has a gorgeous older brother who adores her. She in turn adores her big brother. Family and friends gathered for her first birthday/baby naming. See, little Miss S was born at 28 weeks and spent 100 days in the NICU. So the fact that she is this strong, happy, gorgeous little girl is definitely a reason to celebrate. I'm so thrilled to have been a part of it. I love this photograph of momma with her boy!

Friday, May 8, 2009. Green Peas has been on hiatus.for a little while. I am also happy and excited to share with everyone that I am pregnant and expecting our 2nd child in November. I was a little under the weather for quite awhile and the thought of doing anything that required getting off the couch made my stomach turn! Now that I am back to normal, I'm ready to pick up my camera again and get back to doing what I love to do best (besides spend time with my family! Here's a quick peek from their session.

Wednesday, June 17, 2009. The Continuation of the Game and The Accident. Well we started walking kids, walking in runs, not good! Bases were loaded and it could be bad! But finally we pulled it out and got three outs.the Orioles won the championship! The silly string came out and it was just a scene on the pitcher's mound. Good thing I had my camera with me for this it was very exciting! See some pics below! From the pictures you can tell the kids were thrilled beyond belief, very exciting! Big Day for K.
