Thursday, November 1, 2012. Six years ago today we picked up Olivia from the hospital. It's hard to believe how much she has grown, and how fast time flies! We are so grateful for her and for how things happened in our lives to be in the right place at the right time so she could join our family. We love her so much! Here are some pictures of her around November 1 over the years. PS- You might not see a blog post again until next year, because I'm using Facebook more now than the blog.

Monday, August 23, 2010. This past weekend we got to go to my sister-in-law's grandparent's cabin. We had so much fun! My whole family was able to come. The highlight of the trip was an old dryer that needed to be out of the cabin and taken to the dump. So, Dan and my brothers decided to have a bit of fun with it before they went. Saturday, July 10, 2010. Friends from Cali and Swim Party. Olivia's best friend from California and his parents (our good friends) came to see us yesterday on their way back home to California. Wednesday, September 7, 2011. So about one month ago, we bought a new car (a Toyota RAV4). The color we wanted was on freight (meaning it's somewhere on a truck on its way to the dealership). So, they put us in a rental car and said we could drive that until our vehicle came in. They said it would be about 7-10 days. Well, 27 days later, we finally have our car! I am so excited to have it. It is nice and roomy, drives really nice, and I love the color! Got to love the mileage so far!

Monday, November 1, 2010. 4 years ago today. It's now been four years today since beautiful Olivia joined our family. I will never forget the smile on her face the first time she saw us from her hospital bed. She was so tiny! We have loved having her in our family, and are so blessed to have such a sweet spirit as our daughter. We love her very much! We are enjoying watching her grow and progress every day! Sunday, July 17, 2011. Weekend at the Cabin. We just came home from a wonderful weekend at the cabin. It is my sister-in-law's grandparent's cabin, and they are kind enough to let us and the rest of my family go up there for a few days every summer. We sure enjoy it, it's a nice little getaway. Here is a picture of the cabin we stay in:. No beach because the water is so high. So, we had a lot of fun with that. Dan in the snow- yes, it really was that deep! Olivia having fun with a snowball.

Wednesday, September 29, 2010. We went to Lagoon last weekend and got to experience Frightmares. At least some of it- there is still a haunted house Dan and I didn't have time for. Sunday, October 31, 2010. Final Lagoon Day of the Season. This year we have had a blast going to Lagoon. It has been fun watching the seasons change as we have gone, from freezing the first time, to being so hot in the summer, and back to jacket weather at the end.
