Mrs. Thomson's Class: June 2011
http://mrsthomsonbpsne.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Posted by The Thomsons. Because each child in my room has their own IEP, goals, and areas of weakness, I do not have set expectations for each child, other than they try their best and continue to learn independence. I also expect that we all work on developing each child's ability to be independent. I try to focus on what each student can do rather than what they cannot. This helps each child feel successful each day. Posted by The Thomsons. 10 picture tour of my school. Here y...

Our Family of Five: Florida Vaca: Day 7 Headed Home
http://dillavounews.blogspot.com/2015/04/florida-vaca-day-7-headed-home.html
Thursday, April 23, 2015. Florida Vaca: Day 7 Headed Home. Hazel and her car selfies. She cracks me up. We left around noon on Friday. The Varners, mom and dad stayed and went to the parks one more day. Nick had flown back on Wednesday, so we decided to start the dreaded drive back to KC. The drive home is never as exciting as the drive there. The next morning we got up and drove the four hours back to our house in KC. I might plan on flying next time. Thursday, April 23, 2015. Wednesday, February 25, 2015. February Fun: Snowballs, Swimming and Spaghetti. Finally enough snow for some outside winter fun! Hazel created a new use for toe warmers. Her cheeks were frozen after playing outside so she adhered her toe warmers to her face. Hot chocolate did the trick for Walter! Opening up Valentine's Day cards from Gma Paulette and Papa Pat. Thanks! Brotherly love. IPad buddies. Swimming at the Olathe Parks and Rec recently. Wally fell asleep at nap, apple in hand. Thursday, February 5...

Our Family of Five: 70 degrees!
http://dillavounews.blogspot.com/2009/02/70-degrees.html
Sunday, February 1, 2009. Since it was 70 degrees on Saturday (a record high for KC) we took Kennedy to the park. We shopped all day, so we only had a few minutes to play before the sun went down. Kennedy with her Hannah Montana hair color in. Getting kisses from his Godmother at McDonalds playland. Kennedy woke up Saturday morning with the notion of wanting to get her ears pierced. And she did, much to our surprise! Scared to death right before. Thank goodness grandma was there to hold her hand! Help, p...

Our Family of Five: Preschool, Kindergarten, CCD and Sports
http://dillavounews.blogspot.com/2013/08/preschool-kindergarten-ccd-and-sports.html
Friday, August 30, 2013. Preschool, Kindergarten, CCD and Sports. Our little man has made quite the impression on his teachers at the KCKCC Childcare Center. Just like his big brother before him, he is a hit with the ladies. They tell me his is an excellent little man, never cries, smiles, plays with toys, eats good, is up for anything, laughs all the time and is just generally really good natured. And drinks out of a big boy cup at school (double tear! Friday, August 30, 2013. A Little About Us. On Mama...

http://dillavounews.blogspot.com/2010/04/hazel-luella-dillavou.html
Sunday, April 25, 2010. Alright, so at first when Josh took this picture I was pretty angry. I was having a very very very painful contraction, probably taken about 1/2 hour before Hazel arrived. But, this is the last picture taken of me pregnant. My labor with Hazel was difficult, but not as long as it was with Gus- 11 hours (not 52 hours! And 5 minutes of pushing (not an hour and no vacuum assistance needed this time! And she was born. Welcome Hazel Luella Dillavou! Me and my children. This picture mak...

Our Family of Five: Chuck E Cheese Please!
http://dillavounews.blogspot.com/2011/09/chuck-e-cheese-please.html
Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Chuck E Cheese Please! The kids posed with Mr. Chuck E. Cheese himself. Gus was amazed and kept trying to touch the poor mouse's face. Move out of the way, just driving my car. When I was helping Gus play a game, I turned around to check on Hazel and she had climbed up on this toy all by herself! Lindsey and I, well we were exhausted afterward. But I am loving having family in KC so much- it still seems a little surreal. Tuesday, September 27, 2011. A Little About Us. Chuck E...
