AFTERNOON TEA: This is not as common as it used to be, but occasionally we had afternoon tea in hall, usually on a Sunday. The Scots drink their tea (usually Scottish breakfast or Earl Grey) with shortbread, biscuits or small cakes. DINNER (or tea): See lunch. Sometimes we also have Sheppard’s Pie. DESSERT: sticky toffee pudding, chocolate cake, some other random things with sugar in them.
