Monday, November 26, 2007. Anyone who loves candles must visit this site! My mother in law gave me a fruit pie candle over Thanksgiving and it is the best thing I have ever smelled,.and not eaten! This Lori lady is some how related to my father in law who hails from O Canada. I was a bit concerned with the shipping of the candles but Lori wrote me and let me know she was only 5 minutes away from downtown Detroit,so shipping wouldn't be too bad. Good deal I say. Thursday, December 13, 2007. Here are a few pictures of the "Ice Crisis of '07" as the news is calling it. Guess it is true. I should have taken video of the first day so everyone could hear the erie creaking and snapping of the trees and the zapping of the powerlines. As the wind pics up, the next few days might be worse. Saturday, September 29, 2007. My friends hubby posted a blog about his drive form Iowa to Wisconsin. He wrote quite nicely and made me think about my dad. Well, it was the best surprise I have ever had at Christmas. Not one has beat it yet, my hubby has came the closest,with a set of horseshoe earrings,necklace, and bracelet to match. ;-).
