Three aspiring YA writers share what they know about craft. Writing on the Go: smart phone as virtual napkin. May 27th, 2013 at 8:44 PM. Ive long heard legends of authors having aha! Moments with access to nothing but a cocktail napkin. They furiously scribbled on the thin surfaces so they could hang on to bursts of words until they returned to their typewriters. I personally have a google document set up to be my virtual notepad via a Google Drive app. Anyway, what do you use to take notes on the go?

Three aspiring YA writers share what they know about craft. Avoid the Bog of Blah. Aug 27th, 2012 at 8:36 PM. Your novel should be like a sunny day berry picking for the reader.
