A Day in the Life. Sunday, March 13, 2011. Paddle Faster, I hear Banjos! That was on a t-shirt we saw while we visited Atlanta. It references a movie called "Deliverance", but visiting southern Georgia where my family has roots isn't anything like that movie. The country roads are lined by tall pine trees, along with rolling hills and farms.mostly dairy, but some horses as well. I miss that countryside and driving those roads reminded me of the summers I spent there. You can go home again.

A Day in the Life. Saturday, January 31, 2009. Finding My Own Happiness. To find my inner happiness again, I need to let go of the things I can't control. There's been a few tests God has given me lately and I am sad to say I haven't necessarily passed them. I let my emotions get the best of me and showed people I love that I didn't let God be in control of my worries. Life is what we make it. From this day forward, I plan to make mine one I will look back on and have no regrets. Finding My Own Happiness.

Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Emily had her routine visit at the CF Clinic yesterday and it was a great appointment. She gained a little weight and overall they are very pleased. We can cut down her nightly feedings to 3 times a week and hopefully within 6 months we can stop those all together. Nothing else new going - except that I finally got a new monitor at home and I must say a 22 inch widescreen monitor ROCKS! How did I ever live without it. Maybe I dont need that eye exam this weekend after all.

Friday, June 15, 2007. Its been a while since Ive updated and we've had a few changes. Emily is no longer on her meds for high blood pressure! We are thrilled to have something go in the right direction for once. We are still struggling with her eating and slow weightgain but hopefully we'll figure it all out soon. We are going to be having a GI test done to see if she's digesting food too slow - and if so we'll get some meds to speed that up to where she is actually hungry and will eat more.
