Discovering the Llémena valley. Framed by the river basin of the Llémena stream, this valley is not very known and thus? One of the natural areas best preserved of the Girona province. It has a surface of 182 square kilometers and it’s situated in part of both the Girona and the Garrotxa provinces. It’s situated on an altitude in between 100 and 500 meters. Getting to know the estate. Is situated in a valley formed by the torrent. The estate occupies 165 hectares, from which most are forests, where you can mainly find oaks and holm oaks. The rest is farmland with some buildings, nowadays in ruins. The house gets water from the stream Les Vinyes and a branche of it. It is an estate with great natural and historic richness. The five buildings in ruins at Can Sala’s estate are:. El Casal dels Cantaires. Les Basses d’en Sala. El Corral d’en Sala.
