Wassup Nat?: March 2012
http://wassupnat.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, 4 March 2012. Been to the Auckland Museum during my trip to New Zealand last year. Its a pretty good museum with lots of displays from natural history to Maori culture and a war memorial (huh, NZ in war? Not quite, but they sent their people to join the British, duh). And in that museum, I've come across the most disgusting display I've ever seen! Its around the natural history galleries, in the section called " Weird and Wonderful. There is a tank. well, let the picture speak for itself.

Wassup Nat?: September 2013
http://wassupnat.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 24 September 2013. Common scene in Bangkok. One of the things that I noticed about Thailand is the amount of electrical wires everywhere. Hanging overhead, some buzzing with that electrical sound and some low hanging ones. One needs to watch out when crossing a pedestrian bridge or your head might get caught in the web of cables! It just made me feel more grateful for the small things we take for granted in KL. You don't see this scene very often anymore. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). End Nov = KL.

Wednesday, 23 February 2011. Remembering those who fell in Kanchanaburi. A recent trip to Kanchanaburi was for a workshop, but we had time off one evening to go to the museum, the cemetery and the popular bridge (i.e. bridge over the River Kwai – also a movie). During World War II, the Japanese invaded South East Asia and brought many POWs to Kanchanaburi to build a railroad that joins Thailand to Myanmar. There was about 180,000 Asian POWs (most from Malaysia! Sunday, 6 February 2011. End Nov = KL.

Tuesday, 24 May 2011. I just migrated to a Mac and I'm having a hard time finding for the right software to use to update my blogs. I previously used Microsoft Live Writer, which was fantastic, but of course they wont make it run on a Mac. Took it for granted how easy it was to write a post or publish a photo. Argghh!
