This a shaded pan was a 2nd year assignment in the Animation Program at Algonquin College - based on and old New York and Little Italy setting. I've also included some of my thumbnail and rough work, as well as the rough-clean drawing. It was all done in pencil on full, 37" pan paper - from rough to clean. The tonal shading was done digitally in Photoshop.

We stayed at the cottage on Orewa Beach for 6 nights but in all honesty we didn't do a whole hell of a lot that was particularly interesting so I'm going to do a photo-intensive double post covering that whole period.
