Turn, turn, turn. Tell us the lesson we should learn. Saturday, July 17, 2010. Family reaction to USA v. Ghana. Daniel says, "US players, you have to keep the ball out of your net to win, here try again with my ball." (Our reaction to Ghana's goal in the fifth minute.). Our mood the morning after the USA was eliminated from the World Cup. Sunday, July 11, 2010. Referee Rating: 2010 World Cup Final - Netherlands v. Spain. 14' Easy call for the foul on Puyol. 16' That was easily a yellow for Puyol. 31' Goo...

Turn, turn, turn. Tell us the lesson we should learn. Friday, November 5, 2010. Running Log: 28 October 2010. So I ran the next day during the day (4pm ish) and I guess I am just that out of shape because though I ran a slightly different route and got slightly confused as to my mile marker and therefore ran about an extra 200m on the first "mile", I ran the first mile in 08:32 and the second in 10:03. Wheel of Morality: October 2012
http://travisgilbert.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Turn, turn, turn. Tell us the lesson we should learn. Monday, October 1, 2012. As far as the election, I'm leaning towards Gary Johnson. Romney has zero chance of winning California anyways. I'm tired of expressing my desires through the lesser of two evils. You still end up with evil in the end. It might be irrational because of the stupidity that is our first-past-the-post voting system, but I prefer to be irrational than throw my vote away on someone I don't believe in. Wheel of Morality: June 2010
http://travisgilbert.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Turn, turn, turn. Tell us the lesson we should learn. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Referee Rating: Spain v. Portugal. Hector Baldassi takes charge of this match. I thought he was very good in Netherlands v. Japan so I hope he does well here. Good luck! I've come in a bit late commenting-wise, but did watch the first 4', but didn't see anything major to comment on. I'm also going to leave some of the more mundane fouls uncommented on and concentrate on the game more with less pausing to replay on my own. 37' I...

Turn, turn, turn. Tell us the lesson we should learn. Monday, May 31, 2010. 2010 Matt Armstrong Tournament. Yesterday, the 14th Annual Matt Armstrong Memorial 5-A-Side Tournament. Back row (L to R): Derek Arndt, myself, Ted, Jeff Gleason, David Arndt. Front row: Sean Malone, Brian Wiley, Josie Olsen, Brittany Bergens. The picture stinks because our scanner doesn't have drivers for 64-bit Windows 7 or Linux so I had to take a picture of the picture.). All in all it was a fun weekend. I had a blast pla...

Wheel of Morality: April 2010
http://travisgilbert.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Turn, turn, turn. Tell us the lesson we should learn. Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Now with more Daniel! Here's some of what Daniel and I did last Friday when we weren't chasing discs around. On a completely unrelated note, I hope Clint Dempsey gets better and stays better. He was injured. And it looked like it might be a stretch for him to even play in the World Cup, but the injury wasn't as bad as first thought and he got better and was the hero for Fulham. Daniel and Disc Golf. Turn, turn, turn. Tell us the lesson we should learn. Saturday, January 21, 2012. Brother HL-2270DW on Ubuntu. I just installed the Brother HL-2270DW on Ubuntu 10.04. I tried the official driver and forced the i386 deb package to install with:. Sudo dpkg - force-architecture -i hl2270dwlpr-2.1.0-1.i386.deb. That didn't appear to do anything, but I figured I'd mention it in case it actually did help. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Brother HL-2270DW on Ubuntu. California, United States.

Turn, turn, turn. Tell us the lesson we should learn. Sunday, January 24, 2010. Feeding Daniel Part Two. Abby fed Daniel some peaches that she made Friday. The peaches were really good. We considered keeping them for ourselves, but then figured our son ought to eat his baby food instead of us. They were, however, the first tart food that Daniel has ever had. This caused him to pucker and make smacky noises so I, of course, took a video of it. One of the original co-authors of the paper. Abby was out runn...

Wheel of Morality: Quick Referee Rating: Republic of Ireland v Croatia

Turn, turn, turn. Tell us the lesson we should learn. Saturday, June 16, 2012. Quick Referee Rating: Republic of Ireland v Croatia. As for the offside decision. I understand that FIFA have defined what "Gaining an advantage" means, but I disagree with the wording and I think my interpretation is more in the spirit of the law. The relevant section of FIFA's interpretation of Law 11. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Referee Rating: Denmark v Germany. Quick Referee Rating: Republic of Ireland v Croati.
