She was the younger class teacher and Director. We are delighted to welcome her back to share the job of lunch bunch teacher. A Day at WHCC. About the Summer School. Schedule of Daily Activities. This is a flexible schedule, depending on activities and weather. We play outside throughout the year, although the time might be shorter or longer depending on weather conditions. 8:45 am – 9:40 am. Arrival and outdoor free play. 9:45 am – 10:10 am. Group circle time to take attendance, do the daily calendar and discuss the day’s activities. We sing, dance, play games and read books related to the weekly theme. 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.

Duties include assisting children with coats and dressing, supervising play, reading, preparing snack, and cleaning up. The parent helping experience allows parents to observe their child’s growth, development, and interaction with other children, as well as get to know the other children. A Day at WHCC. About the Summer School. The Summer session is six weeks beginning Tuesday, July 5th and ending Friday, August 12th, 2016. The children in the younger class should be 3 years old by July 1, and have previously attended pre-school. Children in the older class should be entering kindergarten or grade 1 in the fall. The program will run from 9 am 1 pm daily. A child should bring a healthy snack and lunch each day. We will eat lunch at 12:30 pm. Pick up time will be 1 pm.

Registration must be mailed or dropped at the school after April 1st. No email registrations will be accepted. The Woods Hole Child Center Summer Program is an introduction to science for young children, ages 3-7. Children are grouped into either the younger or older class.

WHCC’s 30th Clothing Sale will take place on Saturday 10/22/2016 at St. Barnabas Church Hall on the Village Green from 9am to 4 pm. Most items cost between $1 to $6.
