I have been a potter for the last 28 years. What started as a hobby for 10 years has become my profession and my passion, working and teaching in clay. I work in stoneware and porcelain producing mainly functional ware. Pots are high fired in an electric kiln. I make pots that people can prepare and serve food in. I try to price them that people can buy them and not be afraid to use them. Prior to attending The Cape College I gleaned knowledge from books and attended every workshop available.
