During the first 19 years the entire business operation was based purely on the goodwill created between Duncan Godefroy Esq. of the Sutton Harbour Company and The Capn, as no lease existed and trust was the name of the game. It has always been a most enjoyable relationship, and is now finally secured by a long lease. On 1 May 1997 new premises, you see now, opened complete with its own staff elections, won by Maggie of course (shes been here over 20 years! The chain-link tables were added a year later.
