Founded in 2012 by violist Anne Black, clarinetist Todd Brunel, and pianist Paul Carlson, The Opal Ensemble. A private donation helped to pursue the dream of a free-admission, Friday noontime concert series in Arlington, Massachusetts. The ACC grant further aided this plan, and an inaugural concert was given in March of 2014 at the Arlington Town Hall. In this year, 2016, the Ensemble will give concerts at Arlington Town Hall in February and at First Parish in Lexington in April. Collage New Music,.
