Within me there lay an invincible summer. Wednesday, January 13, 2010. I got a bread book for christmas and am planning to bake my way through it. It is a pretty intense book but the recipes I have tried out so far have been a success. Baking has become a new found love for me, it started during student teaching as a way to cope with stress and now it is a hobby that I love! Here is the book I am cooking from:. I feel like i have gone on a lot of trips this summer (really only two) it has been really nice. Tomorrow i drive to Boise straight from work where i will hook up with Tyleen and then we will drive to kennewick to get Cass and then to the beautiful Oregon coast! I am very excited! I tweaked the recipe just a little bit, decreasing the yeast and doing a cold ferment for three hours in the fridge, I also did half wheat half white which was just a little too dense so i think i will adjust that next time. Turning raw ingredients into something people see or smell and say, "Are those for me? Is just an experience quite unlike anything else. Boy#1 Things are going pretty well but I don't know how interested in him I am anymore because 1. he gave me "bones" twice on monday and then today he admited he enjoyed reading the book "Twilight" so I don't really know about all that.
