It's been a long journey. Thursday, September 25, 2008. This is Hwy 50, on the way to Ely, Nev. I did not know before I started this road trip, that there would be many such roads in the several states I traveled through. I put new tires on the V-Rod before I started, and although I never had tire trouble, I did wear a substantial. Flat spot across the center of the tire before I got back home. I live in the old '49er gold rush area of the Sierra Nevada's. So is water. The buzzards are ever vigilant.

It's been a long journey. Saturday, July 4, 2009. Last year, HOG members logged in over 3 million miles. This year, we rode almost 4.4 million miles. Corrie and I started out with six other club members, and rode South on highway 49 to Angels Camp. There, the rest of the group turned off to go up over Sonora Pass, and back to Truckee, Ca. and home. I can't wait to do it all over again next year. Next year, we will ride a cooler route, up thru the mountains. Labels: million mile Monday ride.

We went to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Tallinn(Estonia), Oslo, and back to Harwich. Heathrow to Dallas to Sacramento and home. Socks should be at least to the top of your calves if you're doing it right. This works no matter what you're wearing. The floppy hat protects my identity from people walking by. Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Mommy decided to get a tattoo with her friend Mikki tonight. I wanted to harass her the whole time but she had Daddy watch me for a bit while she got it done. It's pretty neat and the people at the store were really nice. I'm trying to teach Zan the fundamental Hawaiian hand sign in the picture, he doesn't seem too interested though. Third Time's a Charm. Friday, May 14, 2010. I was dragged along to the beach with everyone today. Apparently Daddy was having a work party or something so all of his work friends were there. They were nice, though a little loud perhaps. Plus the sun was really sunny and the wind was really windy. It made for a mildly pleasant time. It was just fine despite the elements attempts to finish me off as long as Daddy was holding me close and dancing around. That always makes it all better.
