Monday, August 3. Nature Valley (as in the granola bar) is taking on the topic of how our children are spending their free time by comparing three generations activities. The video takes us from blueberry picking and building forts to texting and playing video games. I'll admit it, I built forts and played Pac-Man. The brand is asking us to #RediscoverNature. When I turned four years old, and stepping forward through the months, the first DC comics of which I have definite memories were. O[n-]/s[ale] 30 June 1966: This definitely rings a bell, but I'm pretty certain I didn't own it, must have “read” it at the barber shop. OR DID I CONFUSE IT WITH ACTION COMICS. O/s 20 June 1967: I long ago identified this as the first comic I can be absolutely sure I owned for myself.
