Travel and Drinking Etiquette. On August 30, 2011. Smells and tastes are powerful memory triggers, and you don’t have to be a lush to have fond memories of drinks from around the world. Of course, these countries are also famous wine-producing regions, and any countries where wine tourism is big business are also countries with drinking cultures. Does this mean you won’t visit places where the locals drink like fish with the ultimate goal of getting completely hammered? 8226; Go to Homepage. A company th...

We wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment. Thursday, February 17, 2011. Description of Jenn Teacher. Not in the slightest. Each student got some American chocolate and big hug as they were leaving. I'm easy to please and compliments go a long way to put a smile on this tired teacher's face. The boys of 3C: Edward, Robbie, Michael and Zeki. The girls of 3C: Esther, Elly and Tiffany. The following is their unedited description of me. Enjoy. She has sand brown hair and blue happy eyes. We wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment. Saturday, April 30, 2011. I feel like I am on the edge of a sword. Not quite balanced. Unsure of myself. Sometimes it takes the smallest gesture or comment to make someone rethink certain facets of their lives. Of themselves. Rethink how they got to this specific moment and what will happen next if the wrong decision is chosen. The right decision is chosen. What am I willing to give up? Who am I willing to sacrifice? What is it that I truly want?

Travel with Training Wheels. On August 17, 2011. Unlike many of the intrepid travelers I’m privileged to know these days, my first forays into international travel were quite un-intrepid (if that’s even a word). I’d been shuttled back and forth across the United States three times in cross-country moves with my family, but it wasn’t until my sophomore year of college that I went overseas – with 43 of my closest friends. Then I got my first taste of solo travel, when I went to visit relatives in Paris.

On January 21st, 2010. Posted in Companies that Rock! Over the years we’ve been lucky enough to have a wonderful relationship with one of the local hostels here in Portland. Jim and Britta, owners of the HI NW Portland hostel, have been extremely helpful when the BootsnAll hoards descend on portland every December for the annual party. Britta sent us some photos of Maja sporting her BootsnAll gear. Warning: you must have a high tolerance for cute! Read the rest of this entry ». On January 20th, 2010.

We wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment. Saturday, December 3, 2011. So as you saw above, there's been some big changes. I'm engaged. Yes. I'm engaged. As you've seen from the past posts, I met the man of my dreams while in Korea. It was a whirlwind romance from the beginning and we met, fell in love and got engaged. We're planning for a Christmas wedding (like I said, whirlwind) and moving to his next duty station sometime in March. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

We wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment. Monday, May 23, 2011. Busan: Matt's Last Weekend. Here in Pohang, we are lucky enough to be in an ideal location. Pohang has plenty of beaches only a short ride or walk away. It is close to most of the "hot spot" touristy cities and just a 2 hour bus ride away from some of the more Western friendly cities in Korea. We had the bright idea to jump in the elevator. Not. Our best decision. The elevator broke and we were stranded. Before meeting them I...

Korean Crossroads: A Year in Review
http://jenncomer.blogspot.com/2011/01/year-in-review.html
We wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment. Thursday, January 6, 2011. A Year in Review. An entire year has passed and I only have the future lying ahead of me. Before I came here I felt trapped. Paralyzed. Unfocused. Confused. Now I finally know what I want to do with the rest of my life and how I want to live it. Coming to Korea changed me for the better. Our Pohang Beerball League. My 24th Birthday. Korean style. Going away party for Jared, one of the best guys I know. After our hike up ...
