Friday, 14 October 2011. After the crazy high temperatures of the last two weeks, we have finally settled into more seasonal weather, i.e. it's FREEZING by comparison. A good opportunity to try the paraffin heater in earnest and I must say it's superb. From about 6c, the heater brought the yurt up to t shirt temperature in about 10 minutes with no mad temperature spikes with the wood burner. Time will tell whether it's up to the job when it gets really. Cold Watch this space. Sunday, 16 December 2007.

This one has always amused me no end, first time I saw it was on a (admittedly very good) Abus Granit 59 D lock, scored 25 out of 25 on the Abus scale of 25, nice to see confidence in a great product. What's the point in going all the way to 11, then admitting that it's not quite as you thought it would be, so you dropped a point OFF YOUR OWN PRODUCT! Enough already, the only reason they incurred wrath is because their PR Manager or whatever, suggested that the videos on Youtube (now topping 60,000 views) are fake. They are not fake, simple as that. Unless Kryptonite do something spectacularly stupid, I will be concentrating my energies on the real problem here, Sold Secure and Thatcham. The ITV guys were ok, at least they supplied the victims, but as for the rest, come on chaps, give us a break, it's our time, our tools and our expertise, at least offer to buy the locks!
