I think I got my answer today. In the midst of an intense squirt-gun battle with his sister, a butterfly flitted through the fray. Miles didn't even think of taking a pot-shot at it. He followed it until it lit on a bush and cooed, "Hello there, butterfly.". I think we've done alright. Give consolation if you can spare it. Give blood if you are able. Give thanks to all of our brothers and sisters who are helping others pick up the pieces in whatever way they can. Observations from this morning's run.

Observations from this morning's run. 1 Mile 3 of 17 is an AWFUL time to realize you've forgotten to apply Body Glide to certain critical areas. 2 Not having enough maltodextrin in the pantry to fuel this run, I cut it with table sugar under the assumption "carbs is carbs." The resultant product tasted like the milk left over after you've eating a bowl of Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs.
