Jun 18, 2013 Featured. It was a great week of Tarpon fishing in St. Petersburg. While out on my fishing charters we were able to jump and land a punch of Tarpon this week. The Tarpon are still on the beach and in our Passes. They were eating cut bait, live threadfins, and crabs. I am looking forward to another good week coming up. Mike with a nice 120lb Tarpon.

What You Need to Know. Saltwater fishing license and stamps for all persons. Top of the line rods, reels, and tackle, or if you have a favorite rod and reel please bring it along. If you’re bringing your rod please let Capt. Mike know ahead of time. Live bait and the best artificial lures available for the area. In the winter months we will fish with artificial lures or live shrimp since our scaled sardine population seems to disappear. Rain gear if the weather looks like rain. It stains the boat.
