The Blue Room: Coming to a Close
http://bluerm.blogspot.com/2015/08/coming-to-close.html
Coming to a Close. Well, this is the week. An era is coming to a close. After five years, Steven is finishing up with his home-based therapy. I consider this period all sessions that started after he finished with Marie (PT) and Colleen (OT) at Children's Hospital. Figuring out the schedule the past couple of years has made me feel a bit like an organizational queen! Tomorrow, we say goodbye to four more therapists- Mike (3 1/4 years with Steven), Corie (3 years), Aliya (2 years), and Lori (1 1/2 years)&...

http://bluerm.blogspot.com/2015/07/tournament.html
Yesterday, Nate played in his first ever baseball tournament. He played three games, and unfortunately, his team didn't place high enough to play move onto the next round today. The tournament team was made up of 11 players from the four teams that played this spring. Front: Kai, Christopher, Patrick, Jack, Aidan. Back: Coach Kevin, Ben Z., Nate, Ben M., Stephen, Patrick, Ben B.). They seem to be a fun bunch! In case you only want to read about. Some sites we visit. 100 Days of Real Food.

The Blue Room: Kite Festival - Buffalo Harbor State Park
http://bluerm.blogspot.com/2015/07/kite-festival-buffalo-harbor-state-park.html
Kite Festival - Buffalo Harbor State Park. With beautiful weather on tap again today, I wanted to head out to a park with the boys. They recently turned the area near the small boat harbor into the Buffalo Harbor State Park and built a new playground there. It seemed promising, so I loaded up the boys, and Mel, the kids, and Sierra followed us as we headed to the Outer Harbor. A more traditional shot of the playground. I thought it was a pretty unique design. There were lots of very large kites.

The Blue Room: Sh#t!
http://bluerm.blogspot.com/2015/08/sht.html
And I mean that literally. We're not sure what's caused this interesting new habit of Steven's. The glass-half-full folks might say that it means he's getting closer to being ready for toilet training. I try to focus on that, but right now it's just plain awful/gross/annoying/disgusting. (Pick any adjective you like.). What is this habit? Literally everywhere. No, that's not mud you are seeing, nor is it food from lunch. That's poop . all over his hands and face. In case you only want to read about.

The Blue Room: March 2015
http://bluerm.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
On Sunday, I went to see Phantom of the Opera with Pete, Char, Mel, and kids. While I was in Buffalo, Jay and the boys watched MSU win in basketball and then took a trip to check out Lake Erie in the sunshine before heading to Bethany's birthday dinner. Nate says, "We were walking on Lake Erie and we had a little bit of fun. There were tents from ice fishing, but not many people were on Lake Erie. Steven didn't have a lot of fun because it was cold and he didn't like walking on the snow.". In the restaur...

The Blue Room: May 2015
http://bluerm.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
This morning we headed to the art gallery to take a look at Nate's two pieces. Nate was actually quite excited to not only show us his art but take us around the gallery and show us his favorite pieces. Nate was ready and willing to act as our tour guide. Our first stop was the Art'scool exhibit. Nate's first project was at the beginning of the exhibit. A description of the project. His second was at the end of the exhibit. Nate was drawn to the artwork that was . orange! Steven enjoyed the mirror. After...

The Blue Room: Lost
http://bluerm.blogspot.com/2015/07/lost.html
We headed to the pool this afternoon to cool off and enjoy some of the day. Steven started fussing almost immediately. That's when we noticed. Did you notice it? I was able to finally take a better shot. Yup! That's a missing tooth. We're not sure when he lost it - maybe during lunch? And we have no idea what happened to it. (Our best guess is that he swallowed it.). I would have taken a better picture . if Steven had cooperated. In case you only want to read about. Some sites we visit.
