Captured by Flo: June 2011
http://capturedbyflo.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 24, 2011. Pentax K5 amazing dynamic range. Two days ago, the sky in Geneva was really dramatic and beautiful. I quickly stormed out of the apartment fearing I wouldn't get to the spot I had in mind in time (luckily only about 5 min. drive). Fortunately I wasn't too too late, although I think it would have been better if I had gotten there earlier. Without adding too much noise. Original, totally under-exposed shot:. These are among the first shots I took with my newly acquired D800. I will write a post describing the switch in more details later, but for now I can already say the D800 is a very impressive camera! All shots below were taken with either a Nikkor 50mm 1.8G or a Nikkor AF 20mm 2.8. La Vie en Rose - 50mm @ f/1.8:.

http://blog.ianmylam.com/2014/07/living-with-the-fuji-x-e2
Living with the Fuji X-E2. Living with the Fuji X-E2. Early morning, Bahrain – Fuji X-E2 and XF 35mm f/1.4R, 1/105 sec., f/11, ISO 200. Back in January of this year I explained my reasons for switching from the Sony NEX-7 to the Fuji X-E2; reasons which have on the whole been validated with the passage of time and the experience of using the camera on a regular basis. Here are the very first few frames I made with the X-E2:. An excellent lens system. The 23mm f/1.4. The 35mm f/1.4. And the 56mm f/1.2.

Monday, April 2, 2012. Beauty and the Beast. My wife wanted a portrait with our bunny. Good thing she's a good sport (cannot say the same about our bunny which wasn't very cooperative! I used my old, but very sharp and trusty SMC F-50 f/1.7. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Beauty and the Beast. 169; Florent Gluck. Powered by Blogger.

Captured by Flo: Vespa Time!
http://capturedbyflo.blogspot.com/2012/03/vespa-time.html
Sunday, March 25, 2012. Recently my wife bought a 125cc Vespa to replace her old underpowered 50cc scooter. What's nicer than enjoying a Vespa ride in early spring when cherry blossoms are blooming all around? All dressed up and ready to ride! She's like the wind. Captured by Flo: Egypt Wonders
http://capturedbyflo.blogspot.com/2012/04/early-march-i-spent-two-weeks-of.html
Monday, April 2, 2012. Early March, I spent two weeks of vacation in El Gouna, Egypt with a very good friend of mine. The purpose of our visit was mostly for kite-surfing, but I took a few photographs when the wind condition was not that great (or when it was too windy for our somewhat large kites, doh! I have always found Egyptian architecture very beautiful and fascinating, with very smooth curves and amazing details as shown in some shots below. Enjoy :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
