Captured by Reb.L. Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! Sunday, May 27, 2007. What do you think of the new look? I'd like to do more but this will do for now. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Here's some photos just for interests sake. Look at the difference a year makes. Alex this time last year. And today (complete with bruised face). Posted by Rebecca Lavender-Roberts. Friday, May 25, 2007. I think he must be goin...

Captured by Reb.L. Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! Thursday, August 30, 2007. Today's HSMS is Dish. A shallow bowl or radio antenna. Find 'dish' in your space.". Well I like to think my husband is a bit of a dish but he isn't a shallow bowl or a radio antenna. So I went through the shelves and came up with this. See it opens and there's the dish part. And for the first time in 6 years here is the contents. Wednesday, August 29, 2007.

Captured by Reb.L. Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! Saturday, October 11, 2008. Climbing the stairway to heaven. Alex went to day care where he got hit over the head with a book by another child, Dad came over and built the stairs to our wonderland room, and Ben has been unsettled all day. So today Dad installed THE stairs! Nice safe full width stairs so we can get in and out of the room above the garage. They are a work of art too :).

Captured by Reb.L. Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! Thursday, June 28, 2007. Just a quick update. No photos today because, well because I haven't taken any. Been a little busy with Alex and printing wedding invitations. Similar thing with drawing. Alex can draw lines, circles and even a good approximation of a star, with his crayons but not for the assessors. They gave him a very long pencil and he likes to hold pencils on the ve...There...

Captured by Reb.L. Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! Tuesday, June 24, 2008. It's been good to get back to creativity with my digiscrapping and photography. While I didn't have a reliable computer there wasn't much point taking photos because I couldn't do anything with them. It took ages to get photoshop working on this new pc, I actually had to contact Adobe support a few times! They do it with their best known product! We haven't got...

News from the oldies. Friday, July 31, 2015. Back in May we made Lime and Mandarin marmalade so its time now to make some Orange marmalade. We eventually managed to source some Seville oranges just beyond the Sackville ferry. They are hard to find as a lot of Seville orange trees are being pulled out as these days the sweeter varieties are preferred. In between these two bottlings we also made Lemon Curd. Yummy! We have to thank Elin and Jim for the juicer which made things a lot easier. Just to prove th...

News from the oldies. Thursday, June 04, 2015. Nothing really exciting to report other than very heavy rains a couple of months ago. For those that know the area, this is the picnic area alongside Pugh's lagoon. I have seen the lagoon dry but never overflowing. Lots of blooms on the Trumpet plant. A bit of rain still on the trumpet. A nice batch of Lime and Mandarin marmalade. Lemon meringue pie, Yummy! One of those annoying and costly driving experiences. Drying off in the sun. A future WBA player?

An Australian Lilli Pilli tree. With these lovely white snow flake blossoms. Only three more sleeps before Santa arrives. Happy Christmas everyone and we hope you have a Happy and Healthy 2015. Posted by Dijon Downunder. Saturday, December 06, 2014. Another storm cell building up over Kurrajong Heights. Down comes the rain.

News from the oldies. Sunday, May 11, 2014. Sunday 11th May 2014. Nothing to do with retaining walls I know but I just saw this little chap in the garden and had to record his lovely colours. The front garden retaining wall is now progressing well. This is looking from the front corner up the side of the sloping driveway. The view from the top of the drive. This last section was an interesting exercise as I had to try and follow the curve of the drive while missing water supply and drainage pipes.

News from the oldies. Wednesday, August 13, 2014. A few problems and Dr Who. This blog was meant to be written this morning but unfortunately our modem died on us. RIP Linksys. I spoke to our resident computer nerds who promised to look into which would be the best replacement for us but before they could our neighbour Iris came to the rescue. Di and myself agreed to drive them into the city and while the show was on we would see the city lights and hopefully take some nice nighttime photographs. Not...

News from the oldies. Tuesday, June 03, 2014. Tuesday 3rd June 2014. As the title says, its catch up time once more. We have had RAIN! Well actually it was just a few heavy showers but still very welcome. We haven't seen a wet deck like this for months. May was also a month of record high temperatures for this time of year. It was so exciting to see the water dripping into the water butts. This was the first few drops. This is how it is now, with the promise of some more showers later in the week.

News from the oldies. Sunday, October 26, 2014. Today I met up with Alex, Cathy and Graham at the grounds of The Sydney Society of Model Engineers at Luddenham. Its somewhere I've wanted to visit for a number of years but never had the excuse before. The site is quite open and as the temperature was 37C. we could only manage a couple of hours. The grounds are quite extensive and house cars, boats, planes and trains in all their various modes and scales. Steam trains in the marshaling area. Monday 13th Oc...

News from the oldies. Friday, July 31, 2015. I thought I had better put up a few photos just to prove that I'm still around. I've been busy painting the outside of the house but unfortunately with the same colours as before so it didn't seem worthwhile to take photos. Its that time of year again, lots of oranges on the trees. These are Navels but we need to find some Sevilles to make marmalade. Mixture of old and new architecture in the city. I am passionate about getting to. Know my client and crafting an image. That allows her to shine thru. The goal. Is not to make you look like someone. Else, but to allow you to see yourself. In the best possible light.

Captured by Reb.L. Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! Friday, January 09, 2009. It has been a good day (so was my birthday but I don't have time to write about that now). Alex is at pre-school. So it's just Ben and myself today. Ben has had a good day so far. He slept well which gave me time to redecorate the blog and take down the Christmas theme I had. Do you like the new look? I made it myself. I think he likes his new bib :). Alex is b...

GTRBOT666, DRMBOT 0110, JBOT. 2 kick ass robots, 1 stupid human. Brutal pummeling music. End of story. But you wanna read more stupid crap? Ok, idiot human. BR has been touring the world since 1997, playing thousands of dive bars for millions of drunk humans. In 2013, a critical point was achieved in robotic/human symbiosis. The Bots over went their sixth upgrade, developing human faces in an attempt to fool the pathetic humans into lowering their guard, not unlike decoys in duck hunting. Fuck you, human!
