To install a turbocharger on an 88 Prelude 2.0si. 1G DSM BOV and flange. Custom mandrel bent piping. Boost and A/F gauges. MAP sensor missing link. The day that started it all. Went to the junkyard to pull another digital cluster from a Mazda 626 and I came across an '86 626 with the turbocharged 2.0L engine. Looked in the bay and everything was intact. The turbo also seemed to be in good condition with no shaft play. How could I let this go to waste? Looking kind of used.

To replace the stock intake piping with a custom intake allowing greater airflow. Short intake kit (or custom cold air intake). For my vehicle, the short intake was chosen because of the hood scoop sitting above it. The performance factor is increased by feeding colder air into the throttle body. This is usually done by running longer piping down past the battery to the fender (requires relocating the battery). Otherwise, the short intake is relatively easy to install. Step 1 : Preparation.
