She recently won the Paul Simm Opera Prize for the role of Florence Pike in Britten’s. She maintains particularly close musical ties with the University of York, where she studied for a BA and MA in Music. Cara also enjoys singing contemporary music, and has premiered several new works, including the song cycle.
