Make and Do: October 2012
http://make--do.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without. Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Greta and I played around with another Pinterest idea: turning leaves into skeletons. No, I don't mean that they become the shape of a human skeleton. Instead, they lose the fleshy part of the leaf and all that remains is the skeleton of the leaf. It was fun to try it out, but I'm not sure it is worth it to me to go to all the work it takes to skeleton-ize them. Thursday, October 25, 2012. Pinterest Craft Day #13. Leaf Art" was...

Make and Do: May 2012
http://make--do.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without. Sunday, May 27, 2012. Sorting and Storing the Fabric Stash. But now that we have a big room for our office and studio, I determined I would move my fabrics indoors. This is our old oak TV cabinet. It has nice closing doors to hide messes, but it is very brown. Four big bins of fabrics became these tidy little bolts. I'm storing them in the newly-painted cabinet in small plastic bins I can pull out like drawers. I'm linking to Met Monday at BNOTP. Slide o...

Make and Do: Goodbye..and Hello!
http://make--do.blogspot.com/2012/12/goodbyeand-hello.html
Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without. Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Well, it is farewell to Blogspot for me. I haven't posted recently because I got a message from them saying that I had reached my limit with photos. I just can't blog without adding photos: just think how boring my posts would be without them! I've spent two weeks looking around for a new blogging site, and I (we) finally settled on WordPress. My requirements were: easy to use, lots of photos allowed, and FREE!

http://make--do.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. At the beginning of the month I posted a list of projects. I hoped to accomplish in January. Here is how I finished the month:. 1 Cut up thrifted garments into pennant shapes Done. And make three strings of bunting. 2 Plan office arrangement and buy and install two desktops. Planned, but didn't buy. Due to budget constraints. Meals or casseroles in bulk just for the three (or two) of us isn't how we eat anymore. 2 Moved sewing ...

http://make--do.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. I discovered some really nice feather pillow inserts (the inside stuffing part) at Ikea recently. They are 16"x24", a very nice size for decorating the sofa. I bought one cover at Ikea, and the other one I made. Can you guess which is which? Thursday, February 16, 2012. When we're old and rich) remodel the shower and tub area of our bathroom. But that won't be for some time, so the tile works for now. In the after photo of the...

http://make--do.blogspot.com/2012/11/rustoleum-paint-and-primer-in-one.html
Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without. Thursday, November 15, 2012. Rustoleum Paint and Primer in One. I've been reading rave reviews by bloggers for the spray paint made by Rustoleum, called Universal Advanced Formula Satin Paint and Primer In One. Because I had several projects in mind, I bought a can of white at Home Depot today. Project #1: change my three-decades-old antique brass table lamps from aging brass to.something. White? I'm very tired of these granny shades. Above the Professor...

Make and Do: July 2012
http://make--do.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without. Friday, July 27, 2012. Pinterest Craft Day #10. It was a very fun project and a very fun afternoon with eight of us around the table. We had to add a leaf to the table to make more crafting space this week! Monday, July 23, 2012. Friday was my weekly garage saling date with Heather. We didn't find a lot this week, probably because we didn't find a lot of garage sales. I guess it's too hot for most people now. Here are the lovlies I found:. The top down t...
