Wednesday, December 16, 2009. But, afterwards, on the way home, Zach was asking questions like:. Where was Santa's sleigh? Can I ride on Santa's sleigh". Were his reindeer with his sleigh? How will Santa get home to the North Pole? Can we go to the North Pole tomorrow? Is the North Pole up in the sky? So, he was catching on to the magic of Christmas. Monday, August 23, 2010. Have you ever been crawdad fishing? I had never fished for crawdads (or crayfish) before! It was so fun! You just tie raw chicken drumsticks onto a string and dip it into the water, wait for the crawdads to grab hold, and then you pull them out! At first some of us were a bit squeemish about them and didn't want to pick them up, not to mention get pinched by them. But we got over it and ended up catching 350 of them. The kids loved it!
