The Blogging Buddha: My Last Sunday on Jeju Island
http://jennblogsouthkorea.blogspot.com/2007/06/my-last-sunday-on-jeju-island.html
Monday, June 25, 2007. My Last Sunday on Jeju Island. Jeehee and Eembaum, quite a pair. At first Eembaum and I were just going to build a sandcastle, but then we got a better idea. Eembaum is a tough little guy; he did not let up with the splashing, but it was really fun! In the end we just went for it and swam; it was really a good time! Posted by Morris Anderson. The Blogging Buddha: May 2007
http://jennblogsouthkorea.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 25, 2007. The whole time, which is the Korean version of a whiney, high-pitched "Daaaaaaaad! My sister and her friend right before they turned around to go back, 3 minutes into the hike. My host dad was definitely more excited than the two girls were about this hike! He was having a great time, as was I. The clouds moved in quickly, but we were only caught in light rain for a few minutes. Posted by Morris Anderson. Night at the Buddha's Temple. My good friend, Jeehee. Posted by Morris Anderson.

The Blogging Buddha: The Last Week of School
http://jennblogsouthkorea.blogspot.com/2007/06/last-week-of-school.html
Friday, June 29, 2007. The Last Week of School. Actually, I presented the idea to them two weeks ago in the following fashion:. I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that we have a speaking test next week in class. (pause for gasps and shocked looks that spread unevenly among the faces in the classroom.) But, the GOOD news is that the following week we will have a farewell party for me in class! I told the students they could bring food for a potluck party. Most students just bough...

The Blogging Buddha: January 2007
http://jennblogsouthkorea.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I rented a bike to ride around in Phnom Penh, but it was much easier than it looked! The traffice was crazy, and there are no sidewalks to ride on, so I had to ride in the streets with the motorbikes and obey all traffic laws as if I were a car or motorbike! By the time I returned the bike after two days it was definitely time! If you hesitate you're a goner, so you just have to go and everyone else will adjust to you. Posted by Morris Anderson. The Blogging Buddha: Photos from Jeonju, South Korea

Monday, June 11, 2007. Photos from Jeonju, South Korea. Rohit and Kiehl playing the traditional game that closely resembles horseshoes. We practically had to wrestle with small children to get a turn playing these "traditional games.". There was a field of lotus which will blossom in about a month and really look incredible. Rohit will head to Penn to get his MBA next year; he recently started a blog. To help inform his peers about being fiscally responsible in their daily lives. Posted by Morris Anderson.

The Blogging Buddha: Photos from Friday's Tae Kwon Do Class

Sunday, June 17, 2007. Photos from Friday's Tae Kwon Do Class. My partner could fold in half like a card table; I'm not sure what my job was here, as he didn't seem to need any help with the stretches. I definitely felt it when the kid practically jumped on my back, forcing my head and torso against my knees. Posted by Morris Anderson. Do know anywhere that would be happy to teach a foreign beginner who can't speak Korean yet? Well done for getting a black belt! My email is shakshuka@inorbit.com. Hi Jenn...

The Blogging Buddha: 4 Weeks Left
http://jennblogsouthkorea.blogspot.com/2007/06/4-weeks-left.html
Sunday, June 03, 2007. I attended a dinner party at a restaurant with some of my co-teachers. It was great conversation and wonderful food. My co-teacher, Kim Hyun Sook, brought her 3 year-old daughter, Hee Kyu, who is adorable and fun to be around! I met three of my favorite students for potpingsu after they finished school on Saturday. We talked for a few hours, but there was a sad finality to it. Posted by Morris Anderson. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
