Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Its the little things. Have you ever tried to cut something, or someone, you love from your life 100% only to want it more once it was gone? Big shows of change are just that- grand standing. Sometimes it's the little changes in life that will stick around longer. Take the stairs one time out of 3. Or even start with only going DOWN the stairs. Eventually you may start going UP them. Switch to diet if you can't go cold turkey. Eventually you can switch to tea and then water.

You know you've created a habit of *thinking* healthy (at least) when they're talking about "whats your favorite green" on the radio and the first thing that comes to mind is steamed broccoli. LOL. Most popular answer for everyone else is green lights, by the way. What's your favorite green? Ps- this cold/flu/allergies or whatever I have is still hanging around. But with its buddy Sunburn. Saturday, March 10, 2012. Its not a work out when you've just had a baby, it's a work UP. Even though before getting pregnant I could do 60 minutes at level 8 on the elliptical my first go today yielded. 20 minutes at level 4. My knee was wobbly (another thing I now have to watch out for). I had a stitch in my side. And my toes completely fell asleep. I think I put too much pressure on my toes. I tried focussing on going heel first and that helping with the pins and needles a little. These are SO comfy!

Once again, it is the builder's house. but this time the house is only 1 year old (we bought the Jackson house when it was 12 years old and a couple owners later). It's a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with a living room and a hearth room. The builder put in wood blinds and a privacy fence. and one of those big wooden swingsets!
