Jaren geleden besloten wij in Frankrijk te gaan wonen, we wisten alleen nog niet waar. Asymp; 2 reacties. Het was druk op die zonnige zomer-zondag. De straten worden afgezet en al vroeg zijn de mannen van het feestcomité druk bezig met de voorbereidingen. De smalle straten worden nog smaller, kramen rijen zich aaneen, luidsprekers worden getest, een blikkerig geluid, maar passend in ons dorpje. In de weilanden rondom het dorp worden parkeerplaatsen gekreëerd, het zal weer druk worden. De zon wordt allengs warmer, de mannen raken bezweet, maar werken lachend door. Asymp; 1 reactie. Bij het binnenkomen van ons dorp, staat een groot statig huis. Zoals bij alle oude huizen, ga je via een stenen strap naar de zware eikenhouten voordeur. De oude huizen zijn gebouwd “en pierres”, grote ronde stenen in grijstinten, hier en daar bemost. Het oude huis, rondom weelderig begroeid, staat stil en streng mooi te wezen. Het werd gebruikt als zomerverblijf voor een Franse familie. In de zomer was het er druk, kinderen, kleinkinderen, familie, het oude huis leefde. Asymp; 1 reactie.
