Sunday, March 9, 2008. When you leave your parents' home and continue on life's journey, you really do choose which path you will take. One day your seventeen and then you wake up one morning forty-eight. Where did the time go? JFK, Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy, race riots, man on the moon, bra burnings, Black Power, Vietnam, Nixon really was a crook, Ford, Carter, the hostage crisis, Regan really did not remember, the arms deal, Ollie North, Murphy Brown had a baby, How do you spell potato?

English Poodle: Tears of Tomorrow
http://englishpoodle.blogspot.com/2008/05/tears-of-tomorrow.html
Friday, May 2, 2008. I have tears of sorrow for tomorrow. And the grass will be greener. Because of the sorrows of tomorrows. Yes we had laughter. Our times of together. Who knows where the many may road leads. I may open my eyes. And have tears inside. You did not get out of bed. Now you're another memory. I have tears for tomorrow. So I won't think of sorrow. And borrow every day. With a smile of your face. Till I close my eyes there are no tears of tomorrows. May 6, 2008 at 11:12 AM.

Friday, February 22, 2008. The Weight is not Mine: It's OURS. Of a land I call home. By savagery of Spanish conquests not long ago. Then overtaken by my European ancestors. Trampled on by their. Air tainted with their. Roman Catholic tongues denouncing Peyotist praises. While you, my tan Brothers and Sisters. Looked on bearing the cross. Making the way to your Native Calvary. To crucify your ways. And accept ours that deserved execution before Ellis’ birth. I – indigent. Rain, wash away my guilt,. 8221; ...

Stop it please; I’ve had enough. I’m gonna fall apart! Ain’t as easy as Sunday mornin’. Not peaceful as the night. Don’t worry—get off your high horse. 8212;The bruise is from a fight. English Poodle: Questions?
http://englishpoodle.blogspot.com/2008/05/questions.html
Friday, May 2, 2008. Have you ever really wanted to do something for humanity? To help someone with no strings attached and to just purely give something of worth to some else anonymously, in other words provide a pure act of kindness. Where such goodness goes sometimes trouble not only follows but attempts to be there waiting. The Devil Is a Busy Man. Does that then call into question his true intentions? Was he really being generous or was he trying to show himself in a good "light?

American Literature Rhapsody: March 2008
http://artlessapple.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 31, 2008. Twentieth century writer/poet Langston Hughes wrote “Drum” in 1931:. That death is a drum. Till the last worms come. To answer its call,. Till the last stars fall,. Until the last atom. Is not atom at all,. Until time is lost. And there is no air. Is nothing nowhere,. Death is a drum,. A signal drum,. I’ve read of death as the “Great Equalizer” I’ve also read of death as the ultimate dehumanization. Death beats through our veins not. Does the heart beat for death? My 2 hands meet.
