I have updated my calendar on the craft show link with the various craft shows that I will be participating in this fall. I will update this info as I get more information such as booth number/space number. I decided to limit myself to participating in five shows this fall. Three of the shows are two-day events, which takes lots of preparation! Especially when the shows are only a week or so apart.

Below is the listing of the shows I will be participating in again this fall:. Plainfield Central High School. Carl Sandburg High School. Marian Catholic High School. The Mokena Show is the same weekend as Geneva this year, so I won't be able to participate in the Mokena Holidaze show. Hopefully, they will be on separate weekends next year, as I enjoy both shows.

Hand made creations by Noreen. Thursday, May 2, 2013. Card for my Mother's 89th Birthday. Those of you who know my Mother, you are very aware that she loves anything and everything Oriental! It's been that way forever! The inside of the card needed to be elegant to match the front, so I used a border punch and added two black borders along the vertical sides of the inside verse. I printed the verse on a gold-tone paper so it would once again reflect the colors and elegance of the front of the card.

Hand made creations by Noreen. Thursday, May 10, 2012. Mother's Day Card from Kids. Here is the Mother's Day card I made for my co-worker 's kids. To give to their mom. I used a printed cardstock for the front, printed the words on my computer, cut out the tags and attached them to the flower stems using bright yellow-orange twine. Yesterday marked the beginning of many weekend of fall craft events that I will be participating in, some repeats from previous years and a few new adventures! New this year are my rubberband bracelets - the latest craze around here! I designed Halloween bracelets using glow-in-the-dark skull beads, black/orange bracelets with a large spider - adorable! I also made some bracelets in the Illini and Bears colors which were big sellers as well.

The colors are gorgeous and the scarves are so much fun to wear! I order the yarn directly from the manufacturer in Turkey, as it is not available in the USA. I'll be placing an order soon for the local school colors, since I'll be participating in quite a few of their fall craft shows. Cat bodies stitched together. Cat bodies ready to be stuffed.
