Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Well, where do I begin? I had brain surgery on October 27, 2008, a craniotomy. I would like to tell you that the surgery went great, but there were lots of complications. It has been almost 5 months now, and I am recovering well. The purpose of the surgery was to biopsy the tumor, not remove it, since that is not possible. I would also like to tell you that we got. Friday, August 29, 2008. Well, it's almost been 6 months since I was first diagnosed with my brain tumor. I wish I could say that I'm feeling better, but I'm. Notin fact I feel worse (if that's possible! I have been to multiple endocrinologists and a neurosurgeon who is highly respected. I have tried steroids to shrink the tumor, to no avail. (also to rule out inflammation. I started on Humatrope. I am very hopeful that someone, somewhere can help me. I am headed back up to OHSU. Love to you all!
