http://fledglingfinches.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 27, 2010. Bible Day at Church. This Sunday was a very special day for Peanut and all the First Grade boys and girls at our church. It was Bible Presentation Sunday, and we had the opportunity to present Peanut with his first "real" Bible. He was so excited for this day that he had been counting down the days all week. When the morning finally came, he was ready to wear his very best coat and tie! Peanut and Daddy getting ready for church. Bugaboo wanted to keep up with Peanut. It's a hu...

The Finch Nest: December 2012
http://fledglingfinches.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 10, 2012. Here's a quick update on the big adventure:. During this time of transition, we are staying with my hubby's mom, so the kids are enjoying time with their grandmother. For me, I'm just ready to be in my own home, in our own routine. I have taken tons of photos during this process, but haven't had much time at the computer to get them organized and ready to share. I'm planning to, though, so check back soon! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Bel Canto by Ann P...

Tuesday, January 11, 2011. How is it possible that we are already well into January, 2011? Where does the time go? Generally I would say that time flies, but around the holidays, between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day, I feel like time moves at an especially fast clip! And this year, I feel like we've been in an absolute time warp! Here are a few photos from our Christmas season - may the New Year bring blessings to you and yours! The boys at the Holiday Open House at Winding Trails. Home in the snow.

The Finch Nest: Old Sturbridge Village
http://fledglingfinches.blogspot.com/2011/10/old-sturbridge-village.html
Friday, October 14, 2011. On Columbus Day, in honor of all things *historical*, we decided to take a road trip to Old Sturbridge Village. So, here are a few photos from the day, edited with all my modern gizmos to look antique-y and more interesting. I was feeling a little artsy-fartsy today, so indulge my vintage coloring and enhancements. (Kudos to Canon camera and my iMac for making this blog post possible). Bringing back vintage vests for boys :). Getting ready for winter. The old saw mill. Calico Jo...

The Finch Nest: September 2012
http://fledglingfinches.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 28, 2012. Apparently, I'm not a very good blogger. It's not that I don't want. To, or that I have nothing to say. It's just that I don't carve out time for it on a regular basis, so I end up with too many photos. And too much to write. And I just don't do it. But today, I'm going to write, so that I can provide a glimpse into what's been going on and what the future holds for our family. But, it's a lot of stuff. And now we've got a more defined timeline for all the stuff. But here's th...

Check out the photos below - and let me just say that the high-speed, big zoom camera was just awesome and capturing the pix of the Motocross event - I took tons of pictures and found that much to my surprise, watching an event like that was lots of fun! Did you know that Bugaboo could twirl 2 hula-hoops at once? And check out his style!

The Finch Nest: February 2011
http://fledglingfinches.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 1, 2011. So, it's winter in New England, and that means SNOW! In fact, January was the snowiest month ever. In the history of Connecticut. We have more snow than we know what to do with, and it's so deep that the boys really can't even play in it! Here's what that means for a family of four:. 5 days off from school, so lots of extra time to play and read and cuddle together. Daddy working from home, and sneaking in play time with the boys. At least 4 trips to the ski shop, and the disco...
