The cleanliness belies the dirt we found inside. This blog will show our progress as we renovate our first house together. Built in 1935, the previous owners had lived there for nearly thirty years and not really made the most of it. Much of the house is dirty, smelly and woefully out of date. Nice lino, mind. Wednesday, August 8, 2012. I didn't realize it has been almost four months since my last post! Guess I've had more important things on my mind, like the birth and first three months of our little Lucy's life! She arrived on May 18 and has brought us so much joy since then. She is the sweetest, calmest, best-sleepingest baby I have ever known! We have truly been blessed to add this little wonder to our family. 7 lbs, 5 oz and 19".
