BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP W/CINNAMON CROUTONS. 4 C chicken stock. 1 small onion, diced. 2 cloves of garlic, minced. 1 med butternut squash. 4 Tbsp. butter. 2 Tbsp. flour. 1 C half n' half. 1/2 a loaf of bread, cubed. 2-3 Tbsp. cinnamon sugar. 2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil. 6 Serve hot soup with croutons on top. The croutons make the soup! MAIN DISHES AND SOUPS.

Tuesday, August 16, 2011. 2 1/4 C flour. 2 1/4 t dry yeast. 1 3/4 C milk. 1/3 C cooking oil. 1 Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl, add the wet and mix until thoroughly combined. 2 Cover loosely and refrigerate overnight. 3 Makes about 16 (4 in waffles).
