Biking as an adult, knowing the danger, I don’t know, I think I’m a little afraid. So I haven’t been doing much biking. I make excuses. I do other stuff. I really hate shifting. It feels weird, it sounds weird. Cars are scary. The music was inspiring and the giant tour of San Francisco kept my eyes satisfied....

I'm a mom, a wife, a nurse and now I'm a runner…catch me if you can! Hartford Marathon Training Week 3 Phase 2. August 3, 2015. August 3, 2015. Anyone else feeling like this lately? My training is broken up into blocks. Phase 2 is a 5 week block. Phase 2 of training is also preparation for the Bridge of Flowers 10K. Monday, 7/20 45 t0 60 minute Recovery Run. Tuesday, 7/21 60 to 75 minute Pace Booster Run: Run 20 or 30 minutes at steady state pace in the middle of the run (up Skinner Mountain for example).

Major League Ballparks Visited. Oh, the places you'll go (and run). Tuesday, June 30, 2015. When I was a gymnast our workouts were broken down into warmup/stretching, routine/apparatus work, and then the last half hour of every practice was conditioning. Looking back it amazes me how strong I was. I try to do some of the strength exercises now, and I fail miserably.
